Foot Implants, Fracture
Definition : Foot implants specifically designed for the repair and/or fixation of foot fractures. These implants typically consist of fixation plates or variable thicknesses and angle stabilization and a set of screws and other mechanical components. Dedicated implants are available for fixation of the posterior portion of the foot, including the talus and calcaneus (i.e., the hind foot). Foot implants are also available for fixation of forefoot fractures.
