IVD Test Reagent/Kits, Molecular Assay, Chromosome Anomaly, Translocation, t(4;11)(q21;p15)
Definition : Molecular assay reagents intended for use in identifying exchanges (i.e., translocations) between chromosome 4 band q21 and chromosome 11 band p15, usually involving the NUP 98 gene on chromosome 11, which rearranges with the RAP1GDS1 gene in chromosome 4. This translocation is most frequently found in children with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Its detection may be used as a tumor marker.
