IVD Test Reagent/Kits, Molecular Assay, Infection, Bacteria, Pseudomonas Species
Definition : Molecular assay reagents intended to identify species of Pseudomonas, a genus of bacteria of the family Pseudomonadaceae, by detecting specific genetic information of the nucleic acid of the target bacteria. Some species of these bacteria are a major agent of hospital-acquired (i.e., nosocomial) infections, mostly those occurring in the urinary tract and in wounds, especially in immunodepressed or debilitated patients.
