Footstools

Definition : Furniture typically consisting of a platform covered with nonskid (e.g., rubber) material that is mounted on a chromed or stainless steel tubular low structure (e.g., 20 to 30 cm height). Footstools are used for supporting the feet of a seated patient or as an aid for a patient to reach a high surface such as a bed or table.
