Definition : Tuberculin/allergy syringes including a male tapering fitting (Luer slip) designed to connect the syringe with a needle using only compression to secure the connection. The tapered Luer slip allows the two mating tapered fittings to slip-fit into each other in a liquid-leakproof and mechanically secure manner permits the parts to be readily separated.
