Definition : Needles designed for threading sutures in cadaver tissues. These devices typically consist of half-curved, curved, or, more frequently, double-curved stainless steel needles with an eye in one extreme for insertion of the suture and a long, sharp tip at the other end; most suture needles have cutting edges.
