Reagents, Immunoassay, Rapid Test, Tumor Marker, Urinary Bladder, Tumor Antigen
Definition : Immunoassay reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses on a body fluid sample (usually urine) to determine in a short period of time (typically several minutes) the human complement factor H related protein that is secreted by neoplastic urinary bladder tumor cells (i.e., tumor markers). These assays (usually known as bladder tumor antigen [BTA] assays) are used to obtain information in tumor grade and clinical stage of urothelial carcinomas of the bladder.
