Reagents, Immunoassay, Neuroendocrine Hormone, Somatostatin

Definition : Immunoassay reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses on a body fluid sample (typically serum) to determine the neuroendocrine hormone somatostatin, also known as growth hormone inhibiting hormone. Somatostatin is an amino acid peptide secreted by the hypothalamus and by the endocrine glands of the gastrointestinal tract.
