Definition : Immunoassay reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses on a body fluid sample (typically serum) to determine the neuroendocrine hormone substance P (SP), a peptide secreted by the endocrine glands of the gastrointestinal tract and also by the brain.
