Definition : Immunoassay reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses on a urine sample to determine human complement factor H related protein, a protein secreted by neoplastic urinary bladder tumor cells (i.e., tumor markers). These assays (typically known as bladder tumor antigen or BTA assays) are used to obtain information on tumor grade and clinical stage of urothelial carcinomas of the bladder.
