Reagents, Hematology, Coagulation, Thrombosis Marker, Fibrinopeptide A
Definition : Hematology reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses on a sample of body fluids (typically blood) to determine fibrinopeptide A, a product of the conversion of fibrinogen to fibrin monometer in the process of coagulation. Increased levels of fibrinopeptide A are used as markers of thrombosis; they provide specific data for early diagnosis and management of coagulation disorders.
