Reagents, Immunoassay, Autoimmune, Antineutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibody

Definition : Immunoassay reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses on a body fluid sample (e.g., serum) to determine antibodies against cytoplasmic constituents of neutrophil granulocytes (i.e., antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies [ANCA]), such as proteinase 3 (PR3-ANCA), myeloperoxidase (MPO-ANCA), lactoferrin (LF-ANCA), and azurocidin. Increased circulating levels of ANCA are mostly associated with autoimmune systemic necrotizing vasculitis.

Entry Terms : "Perinuclear-ANCA Determination Reagents" , "p-ANCA Determination Reagents" , "LF-ANCA (Lactoferrin Antineutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibody) Determination Reagents" , "Lactoferrin Antineutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibody (LF-ANCA) Determination Reagents" , "ANCA Determination Reagents" , "Classical-ANCA Determination Reagents" , "c-ANCA Determination Reagents" , "BPI (Bactericidal Permeability Increasing) Protein Antibody Determination Reagents" , "Bactericidal Permeability Increasing (BPI) Protein Antibody Determination Reagents" , "Azurocidin Determination Reagents" , "Azurocidin Antibody Determination Reagents" , "Antineutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibody (ANCA) Determination Reagents" , "ANCA (Antineutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibody) Determination Reagents"

The Binding Site Inc

At Binding Site we constantly strive to improve the tools available to laboratory professionals around the world for diagnosing and monitoring disease. Our origins date back to a group of researchers within the Medical School of Birmingham University who first started looking at innovative ways of producing antibodies in the early 1970's. With a desire to continue this early work but lacking the required government funding they founded a private company to take the research forward and utilise any potential commercial benefits. That company has evolved into The Binding Site and for over 25 years we have specialised in producing highly sensitive and highly specific antibodies used for the detection of certain cancers and other serious disorders.
