Definition : Clinical chemistry reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative chemical analysis of body fluids (typically urine) to determine the level of oxalates. The presence of oxalic acid and oxalates in urine characterize an hereditary genetic disorder (oxalosis) that causes calcium deposits and stones in the kidneys.
