Reagents, Clinical Chemistry, Enzyme, 2-Hydroxybutyrate Dehydrogenase
Definition : Clinical chemistry reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative chemical analyses of body fluids (typically serum) to determine the level of enzyme 2-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase. The level of 2-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase is typically measured as an alternative to determination of levels of lactate dehydrogenase isoenzymes; its value may be used to assess myocardial infarction and liver diseases.
