Definition : Biliary catheters designed for elimination of areas of narrowing (i.e., strictures) in biliary ducts, thereby increasing the lumen. Some stricturoplasty catheters consist of multilumen tubes that may allow cannulation, guide wire advancement, injection of contrast, and balloon dilatation.
