Stimulators, Acoustic

Definition : Stimulators that apply sound stimuli (e.g., clicks, sound bursts) to the patient. Sound stimulators basically consist of an energy source, an electric-to-sound transducer, and a delivery system for the sound waves. Most of these stimulators are used to elicit a measurable response for diagnostic, monitoring, or experimental purposes.
