Chromatography Columns, Packed
Definition : Chromatography columns filled with uncoated particles or particles (e.g., silica, alumina) that have been coated with the stationary phase. Most packed columns use stainless steel or glass tubes of 10 to 40 mm in inner diameter and 1 to 4 m in length. These columns are used in both gas and liquid chromatography systems.
