Definition : Covers designed to wrap around the armrests of a chair, wheelchair, or a powered scooter in order to provide comfort, moisture reduction, and relief from pain and irritation for a patient's arms. Armrest covers are usually made of fleece (sheepskin or polyester), foam rubber, or neoprene and are attached to the armrests by either ties or hook-and-loop fasteners.
