Dental Model Trimmers

Definition : Equipment designed to trim the edges of a full-scale reproduction (i.e., a model) of dental prostheses (e.g., artificial teeth, crowns), orthodontic devices, and/or nearby tissues. These trimmers typically consists of a bench-top electric powered equipment with a frontal working swinging door, coarse and fine abrasive wheels, and a built-in water irrigation system. The trimmers may also include a trimming tray, angulation tools, and a drain hose. Dental model trimmers are used in dental laboratories and in dental offices.
