
Syringes, Plunger, Inflation, Bone Tamp
Definition : Plunger syringes designed to inject fluid (typically contrast media) to the balloon of a bone cavity dilatation instrument (i.e., a bone tamp) to increase the volume of the balloon. These syringes usually consist of a plastic barrel, a plunger, and a pressure gauge or pressure markings used to measure the resistance of the bones to the expansion of the balloon. Bones tamp inflation syringes are sterile and single use.
