Definition : Surgical clamps designed to hold, grasp, and/or manipulate bones. These clamps typically are handheld, manual instruments with two strong blunt curved distal jaws that may be either fixed or adjustable in size; some devices resemble heavy forceps. Bone clamps are mainly used in orthopedic procedures.
