Dental Splint Kits

Definition : Prepackaged collections (either custom or standard) of the necessary equipment and supplies for preparing and utilizing rigid or flexible appliances that overlay the occlusal surfaces of the teeth (i.e., dental splints). Dental splits are typically used to maintain the position of displaced or movable teeth, to treat clenching and bruxism and their sequelae, and to provide temporary relief from muscle or temporomandibular joint pain.
