Dispensers, Dental, Alloy/Amalgam

Definition : Dental dispensers designed to measure and deliver dental alloys and amalgams. These dispensers typically consist of a container that pours a pre-determined amount of dental mercury (in droplet form) and a pre-measured amount of alloy pellets (a combination of silver, tin, copper, and zinc) into a mixing capsule. Some dispensers deliver only the dental alloy to be mixed with the mercury externally. These dental alloy/amalgam dispensers are mainly used in dental offices.
