Training Manikins, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Definition : Training manikins that are designed for use in life-saving treatment training, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), rescue breathing, and choking first-aid instruction. These manikins typically include a model of the head, neck, and torso with anatomical landmarks such as nose, mouth, tongue, and larynx. Disposable inflatable bags (with face shields on the open end) can often be inserted in the model's torso to represent the lungs. Many of these manikins provide realistic resistance for chest compressions. Instructors can use the CPR manikins to demonstrate various scenarios in which CPR is needed and possible patient reactions. Emergency medical technicians and other healthcare workers can learn and practice their CPR skills on the manikins. They are available in different body types and sizes such as infant, pediatric, adult, and bariatric.

Entry Terms : "Manikins, Automated External Defibrillator Training" , "Resuscitation Training Manikins" , "Resuscitation Manikins" , "CPR Manikins" , "Chest Cage Manikins" , "Resusci-Anne Manikins" , "Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Manikins" , "Training Manikins, CPR" , "Training Manikins, Resuscitation"
