Analyzers, Physiologic, Visual Function

Definition : Physiologic analyzers that measure and evaluate the main physical characteristics of vision. These analyzers usually determine near, intermediate, and far visual acuity; depth and color perception; muscle balance (heterophoria); and visual fields. Some analyzers include computer processing and result-recording capabilities. Visual function analyzers are frequently used for screening. Dedicated visual function analyzers to assess eye movement and/or macular integrity are also available.
