Needles, Suture, Ophthalmic

Definition : Suture needles designed with appropriate shape and size to thread sutures through the eye tissues to close surgical or traumatic wounds. These devices typically consist of high-quality, stainless steel, curved needles with an eye in one extreme for insertion of the suture and a sharp tip at the other end.
