Microinjection Systems

Definition : Injection systems that include a microinjector, a microscope, a micromanipulator, and capillary (or micropipette) tubes that hold the substances to be injected. The microinjection system attaches to a power source and a pressure source, such as a compressed gas cylinder, lab air jet, or foot- or hand-switch controls. Microinjector systems are used in laboratories.
