Exercisers, Balance, Dome

Definition : Balance exercisers designed to improve the user's ability to maintain proper posture. These exercisers are usually unstable surfaces in the form of a hollow rubber ball (i.e., a dome) that is inflated with air. Users try to maintain their balance while on the unstable surface. Balance dome exercisers are used to train for stability and balance, in exercises such as standing or sitting on the domes; they are intended to improve stability, balance, and coordination; additionally, they can improve muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility in the upper body/torso and lower body.
